INFORMATION FOR ANGELS. Angels are accredited investors who have an interest in investing in and working with early stage, high growth potential companies. Membership in the Boise Angel Alliance (BAA) is by invitation only and is limited to accredited investors. Members of the BAA meet together monthly on the third Tuesday of most months from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Members work in committees to review and screen deals, conduct due diligence, negotiate terms and monitor deals post investment. Dues are $500 per year.
To be considered for membership, download and complete the Membership Application, the Accredited Investor Status Questionnaire and the Code of Conduct. When completed, mail them with your check to Boise Angel Alliance, 2407 Parkside Dr, Boise, ID 83712. Questions may be emailed to Kevin Learned at kelearned@msn.com.
The Alliance has organized two angel funds, the Boise Angel Fund (2007) and the Treasure Valley Angel Fund (2012). Funds are pools of capital contributed and invested by members. Members of the Alliance are not required to invest in the Funds, although are welcome to do so when appropriate. Currently the Treasure Valley Angel Fund is accepting new investors who must be accredited and residents of Idaho. Additional information on investing in the Treasure Valley Angel Fund is available on its website, www.treasurevalleyangelfund.com.
